Troy Urdahl
Varsity Head Coach

Coach Urdahl has been the varsity head coach at St. Anthony Village High School since 2002.  In that time, the Huskies have made four state tournament appearances, including two Class AA State Championships.  Coach Urdahl is a Litchfield High School and Hamline University graduate where he earned varsity letters in football, hockey, and baseball.  He has been named Section 4AA Coach of the Year five times and Class AA Coach of the Year twice.  Urdahl has also been the Post 230 Blue baseball coach since 2002, leading teams to 7th District Championships twice and a State VFW Championship.  In 2009 Urdahl was inducted into the Litchfield Baseball Hall of Fame. 

Along with his wife, Rebecca, the Urdahls live in St. Anthony with their four children, Violet, Lincoln, Calvin, and Mason. 

Urdahl also serves as the Director of Athletics, Activities, and Facilities for the St. Anthony - New Brighton School District.


Dan Kaczrowski
Associate Varsity Head Coach

Coach Kaczrowski is in his third year as associate head coach at St. Anthony. After playing high school baseball at St. Anthony under Coach Urdahl, Kaczrowski enjoys teaching the game of baseball to high school student athletes at his alma mater. 

After graduating high school, Kaczrowski played four seasons at Hamline University. In 2008, Kaczrowski was named the MIAC player of the year. This honor earned him the 2009 NCAA D3 preseason player of the year in the country.

Following his senior year at Hamline, Kaczrowski was drafted by the Arizona Diamondbacks, reaching Triple A in 2012. Kaczrowski also appeared in one Major League Spring Training game in 2012. Following his stint with the Diamondbacks, Kaczrowski played two seasons with the St. Paul Saints.

Kaczrowski lives in St. Anthony and teaches at Wilshire Park Elementary while pursuing his Master's in Education at Concordia University.


Todd Niklaus
Assistant Varsity Coach

Coach Niklaus returns for his second season as a Varsity Assistant.  Coach Niklaus was a baseball letterwinner in his hometown of Williamsport, Pennsylvania, and is also the head versity football coach at St. Anthony Village High School.  After a great season last year, Coach Niklaus is very excited for another season to begin.

Together with his son Will, the Niklaus family resides in St. Anthony.

Niklaus also serves as the Dean of Students for St. Anthony Village High School.

Eric Brever
Assistant Coach and Video Coordinator

In addition to assisting with technology and various team management roles, Coach Brever coordinates the video collection and analysis of pitchers and hitters in practice and games throughout the season.

He is a three-sport letterwinner and 1997 alumnus of St. Anthony Village High School and has experience as an assistant football and assistant hockey coach at both St. Anthony Village and New Prague High School.  His resume also includes coaching boys and girls basketball.

Coach Brever lives with his wife Heather and daughter Lydia in the distant suburb of New Prague.  He is a partner in the law firm of Wornson Goggins Neisen Morris & Brever and has worked as an adjunct professor at the University of Minnesota Law School.
